WHO IS CLAPPING FOR YOU?
A computer engineer in training under supervision was fixing a system and on completion the client and other students who were watching him started clapping for him. He gave them a cold stare. They expected him to be happy having achieved such feat. Their clapping was nothing to him compared to the quiet looking face of his supervisor. It was his approval that he wanted. A single disapproval by the supervisor upturns the entire verdict of the clients and other student’s clapping.
God today is our supervisor. We should be interested in getting approval from Him and not from man.
Even if the whole world claps for you for taking a second wife, if God’s word is violated, you are wasting your time.
Even if the entire class of yours call lie telling bravery in the face of situational ethics, and God’s word is violated, you are on your own.
Even the whole world were to approve of a feast and the word of God does not approve of it, it is a sheer waste of time.
So at each point in your life, always stop and ask who is clapping for you.
On the Day of Judgment, clapping is not important.
