It was held on the 18th Day of November 2023.

In analysing the theme, Bro Alabi Samson explained the need and benefits of walking together which are, It is possible to walk with God because it’s God’s requirement for man, and there is Peace, Joy, Confidence and Strength in walking with God and Ourselves.

In the keynote I, Bro Shola Omodara emphasized John. 15:5 which explains the importance of each Christian being directly linked to Jesus for spiritual nutrients, while the church is packaged for Fellowship, Mentorship, Caring and Volunteering. While working in agreement, we must hold each other hands, build each other’s up, build mutual trust and respect and communicate in unequivocal terms. He concluded that walking and working together is not an option, but the only way out.

In the keynote II, Evangelist Timothy Iwe taught on promoting the kingdom of God, the church, explaining that autonomy shouldn’t be a hindrance to working together, but rather complementing each other’s work. Things that will make walking together possible are the Master, the Message and the method, while the following are keys to walking together; Love and Unity, Humility and Service, Forgiveness and Reconciliation, Patience and Bearing with differences, Encouragement, Building Up and Being Visionary and Honouring and Respecting Leadership. He concluded that by practising these attitudes, believers can contribute to a healthy, vibrant and united community.

During the interactions, the following ways to overcome the challenges of walking and working together are as follows:

  1. Understanding ourselves as humans.
  2. Love one another.
  3. Learn, Unlearn and Relearn.
  4. Determination for service and success.
  5. Revisit our Methods and Strategy.

A total of Thirty-Five (35) participants, from Seventeen (17) congregations in attendance.

The quality of the presentation and real-life experiences made the workshop a knowledge and capacity-building exercise, which in turn has made a positive impact on the participants. To God be the glory for the participants, host congregation and sponsor for a life-changing experience made possible for the growth and development of the kingdom. God bless you all. Alabi Samson, reporting from Ilaro, Ogun State, Nigeria.
